A motorcyclist has reportedly lost his life in a tragic road accident on the Accra-Tema Motorway on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The deceased was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number M-25-GR 8982 when the incident occurred, according to eyewitness accounts.
Witnesses said the rider was attempting to pass through the narrow space between two trucks when his motorcycle’s handlebar reportedly came into contact with one of the heavy-duty vehicles.
The impact is said to have caused the rider to lose control and fall onto the motorway. In the unfortunate turn of events, one of the trucks reportedly ran over him, resulting in fatal injuries.
The incident caused concern among other motorists and road users, while details surrounding the circumstances of the crash remain subject to further investigation.
