Ghana has achieved a remarkable milestone on the global robotics stage after winning the Junior Division title at the 2026 Robofest World Championships held in the United States of America.
The victory was delivered by Team Apex from Mikrobot Academy, who impressed judges with outstanding innovation and performance. The team outperformed competitors from 19 countries, including strong contenders from the United States, China, Canada, and South Korea.
Their win marks a significant achievement for Ghana in STEM and robotics education, highlighting the growing talent of young innovators in the country.
In addition to the Junior Division triumph, Ghana also recorded an impressive performance in the Senior Division, where the country secured second place, further cementing its reputation as a rising force in global robotics competitions.
