Kantanka Family Distances Itself from Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s Funeral, Urges Public Not to Attend
A spokesperson for the Kantanka family has appealed to politicians, sympathizers, and the general public to stay away from the funeral ceremony being organized for the late Apostle Prof. Emeritus Ing. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka at Gomoa Mpota, insisting that the family has no knowledge of or involvement in the event.
According to the spokesperson, the family has not sanctioned any funeral arrangements at the stated venue and is therefore urging the public not to associate the event with the official funeral plans of the revered inventor and founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission.
“The family is pleading with everyone not to attend the funeral because we do not know anything about it,” the spokesperson stated, emphasizing that the ceremony is not recognized by the family.
The warning comes amid an ongoing disagreement over the funeral arrangements for Apostle Kwadwo Safo following announcements made by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, regarding plans to hold his final funeral rites.
The family maintains that any official information concerning the funeral will be communicated through its authorized representatives and has advised the public to disregard any event that has not been approved by the family.
The latest development has heightened public interest in the funeral of the celebrated industrialist and religious leader, with many awaiting clarity on when and where the officially endorsed final rites will be held.
