IGP Promotes 25 Police Officers for Exceptional Service

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has promoted 25 police officers in recognition of their exceptional professionalism, dedication and outstanding contributions to law enforcement.

The officers were honoured for their roles in a number of successful police operations that led to the arrest of suspects and the interception of illegal drugs across the Bono East, Tema and Western Central Police Units.

Their efforts were said to have contributed significantly to strengthening law enforcement operations and helping to combat criminal activities in the various jurisdictions.

The promotions are expected to serve as recognition of the officers’ commitment to duty while encouraging other personnel to demonstrate professionalism, courage and dedication in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The gesture also highlights the Ghana Police Service’s commitment to rewarding officers whose work contributes to public safety, crime prevention and the fight against illicit drug trafficking.

The promoted officers have been commended for their service and are expected to continue upholding the standards of professionalism and integrity required in the police service.
