The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced the Documentation and Body Selection Exercise for qualified applicants seeking to join the Army, Navy and Air Force under the 2026/2027 enlistment exercise.
The three-day exercise started today, Monday, September 28, and will continue until September 30 at designated centres in Accra and Kumasi. Qualified applicants are being processed according to their respective service categories and assigned locations.
In the Northern Sector, applicants are reporting to the 4 Infantry Battalion at Uaddara Barracks in Kumasi. In the Southern Sector, potential Army cadets are being directed to the Nicholson Stadium, while Navy and Air Force applicants are expected at the Air Force Base in Accra.
The Armed Forces has stressed that only applicants who have successfully progressed to this stage should report. Qualified candidates are being notified through text messages containing their designated centres and reporting instructions.
The exercise represents the next major stage of the recruitment process following the closure of the online application period on September 23. Applicants have been urged to carefully follow the instructions contained in their official messages as the selection process continues.
