BreakingECG and GRIDCo have scheduled power interruptions in selected parts of Greater Accra and Ashanti from August 31 to September 6. The outages are linked to maintenance, repairs and upgrades aimed at improving electricity supply.
The government is launching an independent investigation into complaints of faulty electricity meters and alleged overbilling in parts of the Volta Region. Energy Minister John Jinapor says affected customers will be compensated through credits if investigations confirm that they were overcharged.
