Kwame Baffoe Abronye has defended his right to free expression, insisting that no one can prevent him from speaking out despite his ongoing legal challenges.

Speaking in an interview after appearing before the Accra High Court with his lawyers to seek a variation of his bail conditions, the NPP Bono Regional Chairman expressed dissatisfaction with a previous court decision that remanded him into BNI custody.

According to Abronye, the judge was aware of his health condition at the time but still ordered that he be held in custody.

“I am a Ghanaian, and nobody can stop me from speaking. The judge who remanded me knew that I was unwell, yet he still ordered that I be held in BNI custody,” he stated.

His comments come amid continued public and political discussions surrounding the case, with supporters and critics closely monitoring developments.
