A Kia Picanto and an okada motorcycle were involved in a serious road accident at Budu along the Accra–Kumasi Highway, leaving the car extensively damaged.
According to eyewitnesses, the collision occurred under circumstances that are still unclear. The impact caused severe damage to the front and left side of the Kia Picanto, with debris scattered across the scene as residents and motorists rushed to offer assistance.
Despite the terrifying nature of the crash, all those involved reportedly survived. No fatalities were recorded, with many describing the outcome as nothing short of a miracle considering the extent of the damage.
The accident briefly attracted a crowd and slowed traffic in the area. Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the crash, while road users have been urged to exercise caution and strictly observe traffic regulations to prevent similar incidents.
