A shocking incident has been reported at Ekoase, a suburb of Nkawkaw, where an okada rider is alleged to have killed a fellow rider over a dispute linked to a newly purchased tricycle.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly attacked and killed his colleague out of jealousy after the victim bought a new tricycle, popularly known in Ghana as an “aboboyaa.” The tragic incident has left residents of the community in shock, with many struggling to come to terms with the disturbing development.
The Ghana Police Service has since arrested the suspect, who is currently in custody assisting with investigations. Authorities say inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
