The long-running tensions between controversial Ghanaian preacher Bishop Daniel Obinim and Prophet Ogyaba have escalated dramatically, with Obinim publicly declaring his rival an enemy and vowing to engage him in a spiritual battle.
The latest clash follows comments made by Prophet Ogyaba regarding Obinim’s marriage to gospel singer Florence Obinim. During a recent discussion, Ogyaba reportedly played an audio recording in which Florence was heard crying and expressing frustrations about her married life. According to Ogyaba, the recording suggested that despite Obinim’s wealth and ownership of several luxury vehicles, his wife allegedly did not own a car of her own.
The comments appear to have infuriated Bishop Obinim, who responded with a fiery warning. In a strongly-worded statement, the founder of the International God’s Way Church questioned Ogyaba’s status and influence, insisting that the two were not on the same level in either ministry or business.
“Ogyaba, do I look like your equal? You are nowhere near me when it comes to pastoral work and business. From today onward, we are enemies. I have a spiritual battle with you. I will show you that if you are a Prophet, I am also an Angel,” Obinim declared.
The outspoken preacher’s remarks have since sparked widespread debate on social media, with supporters of both religious figures weighing in on the growing feud. Many observers have expressed concern over the increasingly personal nature of the exchanges, while others have followed the drama with keen interest.
The public fallout adds another chapter to the rivalry between the two controversial men of God, whose disagreements have frequently generated headlines and divided public opinion.
As reactions continue to pour in, many Ghanaians will be watching closely to see whether the feud cools down or escalates further in the coming days.
