In one of the most surprising moments in Ghanaian entertainment history, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale took to the same stage for the first time in six years at a charity concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday night, putting an end to the most bitter rivalry in Ghanaian music.

The two dancehall heavyweights, who have feuded since their infamous altercation at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, embraced on stage before delivering a 45-minute joint set that sent the 40,000-strong crowd into a frenzy. They performed each other's greatest hits and debuted a new collaborative track titled 'Ghana Over Everything'.

The concert raised GH₵3.2 million for victims of the flooding that devastated parts of Tamale and Bolgatanga in September. Stonebwoy said making peace was more important than any beef. "Life is too short for this. Ghana needs us united, not fighting," he told the crowd.

The surprise reunion was reportedly brokered by veteran promoter Charterhouse. Both artists have confirmed they are working on a joint album expected to release early next year.
