Interior Minister Warns: People Who Incite Violence Will Face the Law
Interior Minister Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak has warned individuals and groups against making statements that could provoke violence or threaten Ghana’s peace and security.
Speaking during a meeting with the Governing Body of the National Muslim Conference of Ghana in Accra, the minister said the government would take firm action against anyone whose conduct or public comments endanger the country’s stability.
He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and responsible public discourse, particularly as tensions can quickly escalate when inflammatory statements are allowed to spread.
The warning comes as the government continues to emphasise the need for Ghanaians to protect the country’s democratic stability and peaceful coexistence.
