Captain Smart Donates Truckload of Cement to Support Construction of Abamkrom CHPS Compound

Broadcast journalist and aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Gomoa West Constituency, Captain Smart, has donated a truckload of cement to support the construction of the Abamkrom Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound.

The donation forms part of his ongoing efforts to contribute to the development of communities within the constituency ahead of his bid to become the next Member of Parliament for Gomoa West.

According to Captain Smart, improving access to quality healthcare remains one of his priorities, and supporting the construction of the CHPS compound is aimed at helping residents receive healthcare services closer to their homes.

The truckload of cement is expected to accelerate work on the health facility, which will serve Abamkrom and surrounding communities by bringing essential healthcare services to the area.

The donation adds to a series of community development initiatives Captain Smart has undertaken in Gomoa West. In recent weeks, he announced several projects, including the drilling of boreholes, construction of classroom blocks, and other interventions aimed at improving the living conditions of residents.

Residents and beneficiaries have welcomed the gesture, expressing appreciation for the support and hoping the project will be completed to improve healthcare delivery in the community.

As Captain Smart intensifies his parliamentary campaign, he says he remains committed to supporting developmental projects that will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people of Gomoa West.
