The family of the late Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo has announced a change of venue for her final funeral service ahead of her burial next month.
According to a statement released by the family, the funeral, originally scheduled to take place at the Lashibi Funeral Home, will now be held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Friday, August 7, 2026. Other funeral arrangements, including the date and time, remain unchanged.
The family apologised for any inconvenience the change may cause and appealed to friends, colleagues, fans, and the general public to take note of the new venue as they prepare to pay their final respects.
Beverly Afaglo passed away on May 24, 2026, after a reported battle with cancer. Her death shocked Ghana’s entertainment industry, with tributes pouring in from fellow actors, musicians, and admirers who celebrated her contributions to film and entrepreneurship.
She was widely known for her roles in several popular Ghanaian movies and was also admired for her ventures outside the entertainment industry.
