The Ghana Police Service has dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that motorists have been banned from using AirPods or earphones while driving.
Police said the viral flyer making the rounds does not represent any official directive from the Ghana Police Service.
The clarification follows growing public discussions after the alleged ban was widely shared online, with some motorists expressing concerns about possible penalties.
The Police Service has therefore urged the public to rely on information released through its official channels and to disregard the misleading flyer.
The development is part of efforts by the Police Service to prevent misinformation and ensure that road users receive accurate information about traffic regulations.
