PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC has officially listed its GH¢200 million note programme on the Ghana Stock Exchange’s Ghana Fixed Income Market (GFIM) today, Monday, August 24, 2026.

The development marks an important step in the company’s efforts to access Ghana’s capital market and secure longer-term financing for its business operations. The listing also makes PETROSOL one of the latest companies in the energy sector to utilize the fixed-income market to raise capital.

Unlike an equity listing, the transaction does not involve PETROSOL selling ownership shares in the company. Instead, the note programme provides a debt-financing avenue through which investors can participate by purchasing eligible securities.

The Ghana Fixed Income Market provides a platform for trading government and corporate debt securities, helping to improve liquidity, transparency and price discovery within Ghana’s fixed-income market.

PETROSOL’s move comes as the company seeks to expand its operations in Ghana’s downstream petroleum and renewable energy sectors. The company has previously indicated plans to raise long-term capital through the Ghana Stock Exchange to support its continued growth.

The listing further highlights the growing role of Ghana’s capital market in helping local businesses access alternative sources of financing beyond traditional bank loans.
