Ghana’s first-ever Parliamentary Museum is set to open its doors to the public on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the country’s legislative history.
The museum will be open from Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:30pm. Members of the public who wish to visit will be required to book in advance through Parliament’s official website.
The facility features historical photographs, parliamentary documents, records of past proceedings, artefacts and memorabilia connected to former Speakers of Parliament.
It will also showcase materials relating to Ghana’s constitutional development and provide interactive exhibits designed to help visitors understand the country’s law-making process.
According to Parliament, the museum is intended to preserve the institution’s history while giving students, researchers, tourists and the wider public an opportunity to learn more about Ghana’s parliamentary journey.
