Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Dzifa Tega, has publicly expressed strong support for paternity DNA testing, calling for greater acceptance of the practice amid growing concerns over paternity fraud.

Speaking in a recent interview, Dzifa Tega said she fully supports paternity DNA tests and believes they are necessary to ensure fairness, particularly for men who may unknowingly raise children that are not biologically theirs. According to her, the increasing number of reported paternity fraud cases makes the issue one that society can no longer ignore.

She also questioned why some women oppose paternity DNA testing, stating that the process should not be viewed as an attack on women, but rather as a tool for truth, accountability, and justice within families.

Her comments have sparked conversations on social media and among the public, with many debating whether paternity DNA testing should become a routine or even mandatory procedure at childbirth. While some agree that it could help reduce disputes and emotional trauma, others argue that making it compulsory may raise ethical and privacy concerns.

The debate over paternity testing continues to generate mixed reactions, but Dzifa Tega’s remarks have added a strong voice to the growing national conversation on family rights and responsibilities.
