Big Relief for Renters? Mahama Announces Proposed Easy Rent Scheme
President Mahama has directed that GH¢1 billion be allocated in the 2027 budget towards a proposed GH¢3 billion National Housing Fund to support affordable housing in Ghana. He has also announced plans for an Easy Rent programme that would allow eligible workers to repay rent advances monthly instead of raising the full amount upfront.
