GUTA Questions Utility Tariff Hike, Cites Improving Economy
The Ghana Union of Traders’ Associations (GUTA) has questioned the recent increase in utility tariffs, arguing that current economic conditions do not justify higher electricity and water charges. The association says improving economic indicators should have resulted in stable or lower tariffs rather than another upward adjustment.
