About 45 People Contract HIV Daily in Ghana, Women Account for Nearly 70% of New Infections – GHANET
Ernest Amoabeng Ortsin, President of the Ghana HIV and AIDS Network (GHANET), says about 45 people contract HIV every day in Ghana, with women accounting for 68.5% of new infections and men 31.5%. He called for increased public awareness, regular testing, prevention efforts, and an end to stigma to help reduce the spread of HIV.
