GOIL Leads Fuel Price Cuts as OMCs Reduce Pump Prices

Several Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have begun reducing fuel prices at the pumps following improved market conditions, with GOIL PLC leading the latest round of price cuts. GOIL has lowered the price of petrol to GH¢12.79 per litre and diesel to GH¢15.35 per litre, while other major OMCs are expected to follow suit.

Mahama Approves GH¢300 Million for Flood Relief, Mitigation Measures

President John Dramani Mahama has directed the immediate release of GH¢300 million from the Contingency Fund to support flood victims and finance long-term flood mitigation projects following the recent floods that affected parts of Accra and other communities in southern Ghana. The package includes GH¢150 million for emergency relief and another GH¢150 million for measures to reduce future flooding.
