Mahama demands faster funding for $1bn AU Peace Fund
President Mahama has backed the AU’s plan to build its Peace Fund to US$1 billion, while urging faster mobilisation of resources. He says Africa needs reliable, African-led financing to respond effectively to conflicts and strengthen peace and security.
